Sean (aka DJ Kwes) was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. At a young age his love and appreciation for music brought him to the turntables. Starting in radio, spinning at York University’s 105.5FM, Ryerson University’s 88.1FM and OutRageFM.com, he pushed the boundaries of urban and electronic music, giving his sound a uniqueness all its own. His energetic style as a performance DJ opened the doors to the entertainment industry landing appearances on Degrassi: The Next Generation, Disney's Ice Princess, a role in the movie Honey.

As a recent 2019 DMC competition and can be found spinning music and MC’ing at various venues in the GTA including major corporate events, weddings and boat cruises.
